2025 Performance Centre Events
The UK aims to capture and store 20-30 million tons of CO2 annually by 2030. Legacy oil and gas fields offer a prime opportunity for carbon storage, but understanding and mitigating the risks of legacy wells is crucial. This event will focus on how we can support CCS license holders in meeting NSTA storage permit requirements and address high-risk legacy wells. We'll explore solutions for plug and abandonment (P&A) remediation, showcasing ÓÈÎïÊÓƵ's science-based engineering approaches for well interception and ranging, including relief and P&A operations. Join us to discover innovative techniques, tools, and digital solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of CCS projects, contributing to the UK’s carbon reduction goals.
